Really enjoyed this place! The Hainanese chicken rice was probably my favorite — very authentic, flavorful, and the portion was generous. We also tried the Tom Yum soup and Kangkung Belachan, and both were really good. Everything we ordered tasted pretty authentic overall, especially if you’re looking for Southeast Asian flavors. Our server was also really friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself has a cozy atmosphere with lots of greenery, which makes it a nice place to sit down and enjoy a meal. It’s also super convenient to get to from the Grove Street PATH station, only about a 7-minute walk. Definitely a place I’d come back to!

Had a great experience here! The owner was incredibly friendly and took the time to recommend dishes based on our taste instead of just suggesting random items. We ordered the Silver Needle Noodles, Thai Basil Minced Pork Rice, Hainanese Chicken, and Bak Kut Teh. Every dish was delicious. The noodles were chewy and full of flavor, the basil rice was fragrant and satisfying, the Hainanese chicken was tender with excellent ginger and chili sauces, and the Bak Kut Teh had a rich herbal broth with fall-off-the-bone ribs. The restaurant was clean, the service was warm and attentive, and the prices were reasonable. Definitely one of the best Malaysian restaurants I’ve tried in New Jersey. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be back

A friend just moved to Grove Street, so we met here for lunch and found out they’re running this World Cup special. 📍More Express (Asian Fusion & Sushi) 281 Grove St, Jersey City, NJ 07302 ⭐ Beef Rendang ($23) My favorite dish. The beef was super tender and packed with flavor. Honestly reminded me more of satay than a traditional rendang. ⭐ Drunken Noodle with Chicken ($18) Best served hot. The chicken was surprisingly juicy and the noodles had great flavor. ⭐ Malaysia Prawn ($28) The owner’s recommendation and definitely worth ordering. The shrimp were full of flavor, and even the shells were crispy enough to eat. We also got: * Seaweed Salad ($8) * Wasabi Roll ($17) Both were fresh and generous in portion. ✅ Wear a World Cup jersey and you’ll get a free mango sticky rice. ✅ Big portions, reasonable prices, and a great spot to meet up with friends.

Definite a hidden gem in Jersey City! The most authentic Malaysian food I’ve had in the area. I can immediately tell the ingredients are incredibly fresh, and every dish feels like it’s made with real care rather than taking shortcuts. Every sip of the bak kut teh felt nourishing and comforting, the kind of soup that makes you slow down and relax after a long day. The pork was tender and flavorful without being greasy at all. The Hainanese chicken and curry beef were also my favorite. Every dish tasted balanced, authentic, and full of depth. Recommend and will definitely be back again and again!

This Malaysian restaurant is such a hidden gem! The atmosphere is beautiful — the windowsills are filled with plants and succulents, and you can really tell the owner puts a lot of care into the space. Food-wise, everything we ordered was amazing. Highly recommend the Hainanese chicken — for $25 you get half a chicken, and it’s incredibly tender and flavorful. It comes with ginger sauce and chili sauce, but honestly, it’s so good on its own that you can really taste the natural flavor of the chicken. The Malaysia prawn was another highlight — the shrimp are big and even the shells are delicious to eat. The drunken noodle one of my favorites, and they did such a great job balancing the flavors — very well-seasoned but not overly salty. We also loved the crab rangoon and chicken satay — probably one of the most flavorful satays I’ve ever had. The marinade goes deep into the meat, not just on the surface, and the chicken is super juicy and clearly very fresh. The salt & pepper ribs were crispy on the outside with a light coating, and the house special tofu (egg tofu) was also really delicious.
